Mr. Basaleli received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics, from Queens college of The City University of New York. He continued on toward a Master of Business Administration at The Hofstra University School of Business.
Mr. Basaleli served as a retail loan officer at Prudential Mortgage where he achieved ‘Top Producer’ status for several months of his tenure. He specialized in affordable housing and Government products. He continued his retail career at Lincoln Savings Bank where he put together an extensive branch training package for origination of residential loans, which helped branch managers meet their origination goals.
Before Joining Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company, Inc., Mr. Basaleli worked most recently as B/C Area Manager at Countrywide Home Loans. At Countrywide, Mr. Basaleli was able to build the B/C program in New York from the ground up. During his tenure at Countrywide, the New York B/C team was the highest volume Branch in the Northeast.
Mr. Basaleli is a Member of the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers, The New York Society of Mortgage Professionals, and the Cohen Preschool Board of Directors. He also serves as MIS director for Silverstein Hebrew Academy and Chabbad of Great Neck.
Mr. Basaleli is the Operations Manager at GHMC. Mr. Basaleli’s responsibilities include the supervision of staff at the corporate headquarters and the setup of new branch locations throughout the region.
